Desi-style Grilled Lamb Chops - Halalia

Serves: 3 | Preparation: 15 mins | Cooking: 10 mins | Duration: 25 mins

Ingredients:

  • 6 Lamb chops
  • 4 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Meat tenderiser
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 2 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • ½ tablespoon Fenugreek
  • ½ tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 2 tablespoon Mint sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Yogurt

Steps to Make It:

  1. In a small bowl, mix ginger garlic paste, a pinch of salt, and meat tenderizer.
  2. Rub this mixture on lamb chops and leave for 30 minutes.
  3. Now, add all remaining ingredients and mix them to make a paste. Add this mixture to the lamb chops and leave for 3 - 4 hours or overnight. (You can freeze chops at this stage for up to 1 week).
  4. Grill the chops on high flame for 6 to 7 minutes from each side. Brush with olive oil or butter when needed. Serve with bread or boiled rice.
